"What we _call_ the operations floor"? That's weird; it's not the actual term for it? If that's just the "loving nickname" then what's the real term: the one for which he wouldn't feel kike he'd have to say "what we call..." about?
I bet that thing's not really that big even if/when we _don't_ look at it.
I smashed the like button..... you owe me a monitor. Seriously, Great video. Loved it!
My father was a private pilot and engineer at Ford and was the person assigned to visit Molt and evaluate the Aerocar. He flew it several times and said it was a pretty good airplane, but a lousy car. Not surprising since Molt wasn't an automotive engineer. Molt came to visit us in Detroit several time and insisted that I call him "Uncle Molt." We'd catch up with him every year at Oshkosh. I remember once going to dinner with him, my Dad, and some of Molt's friends. At the table were Dick (RIP) and Burt Rutan, wives, some VP from General Dynamics, and other notables.
Very cool
This is super interesting and helps. I’ll look at that next time I come!
Ive been there and i saw it
So much great information in this video! I built a model of the B-17G at 13 years old and have loved any information I could find ever since. Thank You! Thank You!! THANK YOU!!! ❤
I need to go to this museum.
Hi man,I loved the comparison, very knowable with interesting facts on both planes. My favourite has to be the Mig 15, but what do I know. Peaceful respect. ✌️ ❤
I see you got my aircraft from the Champlain Fighter Aircraft Museum- I want it back! 🤣
Albatross became Focke Wulf, Otto became Messerschmidt and Fokker became North American Aviation
I know you bought that from my museum Chapman Fighter Aircraft Museum- I want it back! 🤣🤣🤣❤️🫡
Is the KC10 based on the DC10-30 or 40?
Altitude below sea level
Thats funny and informative too!
Ukraine is the best promoter to a Submarine.
It's not K I 43, it ki43 ki as in key. There is no I or K in the Japanese alphabet. If you can't get that simple part right how else did you get wrong?
Curator is not funny.
What happened to Part 3???

@@museumofflight THANKS!!!
Why don't we have flying cars? Can you imagine for a moment the idiots you see on the road now, flying in the air with no boundaries or lanes to confine them? It might work alright with a few people, but to give tens of thousands of flying cars will not work with out automated driverless vehicles.
Is the one at the museum air worthy?
People are self-important idiots behind the wheel. I REALLY don't want them in the air!!!
Youre a good extemporaneous speaker.👍
I don't trust people driving cars, forget about flying. We're better off that way.
Great presentation! Learned a lot.
i take the F-86 all the way
For a country which prioritize functionality over aesthetics, MiG 21 is one of those really good looking Russian aircraft.
Love the aircraft, but do you have to talk as if we are all 4 years old?
Why don’t we have flying cars today???? After standing in line at the DMV, who in their right mind would want to wait in line at the FAA?
I have been to that museum is it by the airport
Yes! We're right on Boeing Field!
hey i was here a year ago, at that exact spot, behind the 737 fuselage
Matthew was way better before he grew his hair
Once you think about flying cars for a little bit, you realize that cars should be cars, and flying vehicles should be flying vehicles. It's not only because a traffic jam in the sky, but also how do you regulate people? Imagine drunk flyers instead of drunk drivers. Imagine the maintenance cost, the infrastructure changes, all that shit.... just buy one of the many flying vehicles if you want to fly
Yea... Imagine being in a casino at the 3rd floor suddenly a car came through the window like wtf
Yeah that’s interesting
One of Dusty Crophopper's Fans
People around here have enough trouble trying to figure out how to properly pay attention and drive in 2 dimensions; adding altitude would just confuse them even more and create unacceptable hazards for everyone!
That’s crazy! I’d love to hear why it flopped even tho I’m sure it’s because it’s just that it wasn’t easy to regulate.
Thanks for talking to us like we're 6 year Olds!
The winner of a dogfight depends on a few factors at the start of the match. If the P-40 is above the hayabusa then it can boom and zoom and outrun it. On the other hand if the P-40 decides to trunfight the hayabusa is basically guaranteed to win
Thank you for telling this story.
That was very well done, thank you for sharing early US Naval/Aviation history.
First comment. Great job!
Old but GOLD Phantoms Phorever 👻
Great info here that you don’t normally think about/consider. Reminds me of the movie “The Martian.” Do as much as you can with the minimal amount and waste nothing if possible.
"It probably doesn't have as many maintenance problems" if only they knew lol. The 46 is super temperamental.
I’ve been in that room XD
Great presentation you guys rock!!!!!!!
Por que se discrimina al hispano parlante??? Muchos no sabemos el ingles.....por favor subtitulos en español si???? Por "plis" (please)
Australians put the P40 to good use in New Guinea before Americans even arrived. You didn't want to follow that Oscar in the vertical planning on a turning fight.
